Treasurer-Michael Brown

Michael Brown was born in Idaho and raised in St George, Utah. Growing up, he was heavily involved in sports in and outside of school. Michael played football, wrestled, and ran track. After graduation, Michael chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the military.

Michael deployed four times as an Airborne Ranger in the United States Army. Sergeant First Class Michael Brown would eventually discharge, honorably, in December 2013 and was awarded several Army Achievement and Commendation Medals, and a Meritorious Service Medal.

Following his service in the military, Michael moved to Oak Harbor, Washington, and became a Police Officer. He became a Master instructor and SWAT Officer for the Department. He received the Life Saving Award, Distinguished Service Award, and Medal of Distinction. In 2020 Michael graduated with his Bachelor in Business Management, Magna Cum Laude, and was recruited into the private sector in Operations and Executive Roles.

Michael began meeting with Ryan Luchau about how he could assist with Impact Montana. After several meeting and assisting with Impact Montana events, Michael and Ryan felt he could have a positive impact on the board. 

Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and three dogs. He enjoys being active in exercise, sports, skydiving, water and snow sports, and is currently working on his M.B.A.
