Board Member-Alicia Tangen
Alicia Tangen was born and raised in Montana and considers herself fortunate to raise her children here. She has been the Navy Command Ombudsman since 2017, serving as the liaison between service members/families and Command Leadership. Her husband, Trevor, has served in the Navy for more than 18 years. Trevor has deployed multiple times and risen through the ranks, currently serving as Senior Chief at the Naval Reserve Center-Helena.
Alicia earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Justice Studies from Arizona State University and completed a Masters degree in Public Administration focused in Government and Policy from Grand Canyon University before working in Washington DC and returning home to her roots in Helena, Montana.
Impact Montana has been important to Alicia since her first experience at A Night of Impact 2022. Her dad was Colonel with the Montana Highway Patrol and through that and her husband's service, she saw how impactful Law Enforcement/Military life can be on the family unit.
Alicia lives in Montana City with her husband and three children. She owns and operates several real estate/property management companies and enjoys helping others.
